What we collect

When you buy a course, we receive your name, your email address and a record of what you bought. When you email us, we have your message and email address. Course progress and any work you submit for a capstone are stored with your account.

What we do not collect

We never see or store your card number. Checkout is handled by Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record and keeps your payment details under its own privacy policy at gumroad.com/privacy. This site runs no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts.

How we use it

We use your information to give you access to your courses, send receipts and course notices, answer your questions, issue certificates and handle refunds. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who else handles it

Gumroad processes payments and collects sales tax. Our site is hosted on Netlify. If we add a service that handles your information, such as a sign-in or email provider, we will name it on this page.

Email

We email you about your purchase and your courses. If we ever send a newsletter, it goes only to people who signed up for it, and every issue has an unsubscribe link.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing jeff@jeffschenck.com. We will answer within 30 days. We keep payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it.
